I'm celebrating the one-year anniversary of the creation of The Storyfire.

 

With over four thousand posts, this public forum has become the home of all things Tristaine.  We talk about the series, but also about so many other things that move us.  It feels to me like the world from an Amazon perspective -- novels, art, travel, queer issues, seen through the insights of strong and peaceful women.

 

We're a small group of posters, with a larger company of readers who enjoy listening to our stories.  All credit for The Storyfire's creation goes to my dear friends, Amy Kruetzman Bernheisel and Pam Goodwin.

Happy to have Windigo Thrall  in general release, and reviews are starting to trickle in.

Hello to all my sistren, brethren and othren --

 

It's another of those favorite days of authors -- Windigo Thrall  just arrived on my doorstep.

 

I'm sitting here with the Yule Log crackling on my teevee, egg nog in my belly, my dog asleep on my left foot, and my latest book in my lap.  Yes, I'm describing heaven on earth.
